What to Expect:
⚡️Friday, June 5th We’ll kick off the weekend with an engaging evening reception that brings together women in industry alongside key stakeholders and industry partners. The night blends connection and conversation with interactive stakeholder engagement sessions, a women’s workwear and PPE fashion show, and time to explore exhibitors. It’s a welcoming introduction, complete with a dinner buffet and plenty of opportunities to network and settle in.
⚡️Saturday, June 6th Experience a full, high-impact conference day centered on growth, confidence, and connection. Through a mix of powerful keynotes, interactive workshops, and honest panel conversations, the day explores authenticity, leadership, and what it means to take space in skilled trades and STEAM. With opportunities to dive into mentorship, entrepreneurship, and advocacy, you’ll gain both practical tools and meaningful insight to support your next steps.
⚡️Sunday, June 7th Close out the weekend with a focus on sustainability, both personally and professionally. Sunday’s sessions explore financial empowerment, wellness, and the power of intentional networking, helping you turn inspiration into action. The day ends with thoughtful closing remarks that reinforce connection, leaving you feeling grounded, supported, and ready to move forward with clarity and purpose.

This conference is open to women or gender-diverse individuals who currently work in or aspire to work in the Skilled Trades or STEAM. Whether you’re in the beginning stages of your career and looking to plan your next steps or an established professional looking for advancement opportunities, this event is for you!
Can I attend this event virtually?

Are meals provided?
Yes! Your registration includes:
🍽 Dinner on Friday
🍽 Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday

What should I wear?
We recommend casual or business casual attire, whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. If you’d like the opportunity to dress up a bit, the Friday evening reception would be best for that.
Is there a hotel block?
If you are travelling from out of town, we have arranged a hotel block at Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre, a 4 minute drive/18 minute walk from the BCIT campus.
