Dream & Build 2025 is Coming to Edmonton!

Get ready to join a vibrant community of women in skilled trades for a weekend of connection, growth and real conversations.

What to Expect:

⚡️Saturday will feature a keynote inspiring confidence through mentorship, career events and advocacy for women and gender-diverse individuals. Attendees will participate in icebreakers to build connections in the trades. Workshops will address overcoming imposter syndrome, managing finances and mindfulness practices for stress relief. Accomplished women will share strategies for career growth and professional development across industries. The Empower Hour social will offer networking for women in trades.

⚡️Sunday will focus on work-life balance, wellness and advocating for safety in high-pressure industries, with discussions on self-advocacy and taking your space. Sessions will address challenging workplace cultures, entrepreneurship and networking, while keynotes by Marcia Braudy and others will inspire confidence and collaboration. The weekend will end with a reflective closing celebration

Who can attend the Dream & Build Conference?
This conference is open to any female or female-identifying person who currently works in or aspires to work in the skilled trades. Whether you’re a student, apprentice, professional, or career changer, this event is for you!
Why is the conference free? What’s the catch?
No catch! The Dream & Build Conference is funded by the Government of Canada as part of their initiative to recruit and retain more women in the skilled trades. Their goal is to break down barriers and create more opportunities for women in these high-demand fields.
Are meals provided?
Yes! Your registration includes:

What should I wear?
We recommend casual or business casual attire—whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident.
