Before thousands of students step onto the Dreamer Day floor to explore their futures, Canada’s business, government, education, and workforce leaders will come together to help shape what those futures can look like.
The inaugural Dreamer Day VIP Leadership Breakfast is a curated leadership gathering focused on one of Canada’s most pressing challenges: building a skilled, diverse, and future-ready workforce.
Through meaningful conversation and executive-level connection, the breakfast will explore how increasing women’s participation in high-demand industries can help address labour shortages, strengthen economic competitiveness, and build a more resilient Canada.

Dreamer Day introduces thousands of young women and gender-diverse students to careers in industries shaping Canada’s future, including skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, energy, construction, defence, STEM, transportation, and technology.
The VIP Leadership Breakfast brings together the decision-makers responsible for strengthening these sectors and connects their conversation directly to the next generation preparing to enter them.
Following the breakfast, guests will transition onto the Dreamer Day event floor as students arrive, turning a national workforce conversation into something tangible, immediate, and full of possibility.

The morning will feature a government keynote, leadership panel, audience discussion, and insights from Build a Dream’s research and national workforce development work.
