Empowering the Next Generation
In partnership with CUSW and Milwaukee Tool, the #HerPower Tools program is designed to encourage young women to pursue a youth apprenticeship, post-secondary skilled trades program, apprenticeship or STEM career. Individuals who have registered for a program can apply for the chance to win one of 200 tool bags filled with job essentials (a $150 value!).

Rules
Young women who enter the #HerPower Tools program must:
- Be registered in a youth apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, or registered apprenticeship program
OR
Be registered in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math program - Commit to participate in a Build a Dream interview 3 times a year (to talk about experiences, successes, and challenges with student’s trades career)
- Attend a virtual event designed to connect the student to industry, employers, coaches, and community partners
