Images and graphics to further help drive the message of skilled trades and non-traditional career paths for young girls bypassing along the message of “I can help through welding”, “I can save lives through construction” etc. dispelling misconceptions and starting a conversation.

THE CURIOSITY PROJECT:

To captivate the natural curiosity young women, exhibit and encourage them to explore and consider the skilled trades and STEM fields as viable career options through videos and worksheets. Allowing them to delve into these fields through research, reflection and practice.

CAREER PLANNING GUIDE:

Provides information and resources on planning a path towards career planning, career exploration, and self-exploration. Supporting parents in facilitating conversation around career aspirations, skills, interest and goals.

POST-SECONDARY TWINNING:

Providing an opportunity for students to sign up and receive a chance to be paired with a post-secondary student in the skilled trades, stem, emergency response, entrep, and leadership pathway and be mentored, ask questions and gain a cleared understanding the process of pursuing their selected field.
