Book a #DreamBig career discovery expo with us.
Build a Dream works closely with educators across Canada to encourage and empower young women to explore future opportunities in skilled trades, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), emergency response and entrepreneurship.
Throughout the pandemic, we’ve successfully changed our career expo’s from in-person to virtual without losing the entertainment or engagement from students and speakers.
#DreamBig Expo: 1.5 hours of formal programming (6:00 – 7:30 pm)
Kick off the night with a short presentation from your selected OYAP coordinator/guidance counsellor to highlight the many opportunities available for career exploration in high school and how students can participate!
Build a Dream recruits and presents a variety of speakers who share career advice and insight on their jobs and industries. The panel also includes young people in the early stages of their trades career, sharing information on their personal experience with the apprenticeship program.
Build a Dream provides area employers and organizations who speak to getting “job-ready”, what companies are looking for in new hires, and how to stand out in the application and interview process.
You Will Also Receive:
Want to customize your experience? Add a Virtual photo booth for $1500!
